Master of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management (M.S.H.T.M)

The M.S.H.T.M will enhance your professional leadership abilities and your technical and research skills, preparing you for career opportunities in a wide variety of professional areas. The M.S.H.T.M requires a minimum of 30 graduate-level semester hours of course work in hospitality and tourism management, plus a graduate thesis or master's project.

Theoretical areas of study include management theory and practice, operations analysis, organizational and leadership development, cultural diversity and research methods.

Professional areas of study include:

  • Lodging
  • Service management
  • Meetings, convention and exhibition management

and other elective courses in business, education or training and development.

Both areas of study include opportunities to engage in creative problem solving and apply research methods to industry issues and trends.The programme is administered by Roosevelt University in collaboration with ECTS.
